Father Justin Popovich
Translation, Preface, and Introduction by Asterios Gerostergios, et al.
“Father Justin is considered a very important Orthodox personality, one with pan-Orthodox authority. In addition, many faithful even consider him a saint. Miracles at his grave site are constantly being attributed to him, such as healings, flashes of divine light from his tomb, etc. Icons have been painted and hymns have been composed in his honor. People entreat him in their prayers to intervene with the Lord for assistance. Due to all of these reasons, we have decided to offer the English-speaking world some of Fr. Justin’s remarkable writings related to important issues of the day in book form, such as education, the Church, the philosophical trends of our time, the so-called Ecumenical Movement, and the Patristic Orthodox Tradition.”
